Algorithms
for PET and fMRI
The Ollinger laboratory is a spacious 98 square foot facility in the neuro-imaging laboratory of the Mallinkrodt Institute
of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Scatter Correction for Fully 3D PET
- Summary of results.
- Download information and software.
- The paper "Analytic correction for scatter in fully 3D PET: statistical
issues" presented at the 1997 Nuclear Science Symposium in Adobe Acrobat format or in compressed postscript.
PET Tutorial
- Download a tutorial paper on the physics and signal processing issues in PET in Adobe Acrobat format or as compressed postscript. This article appeared in the
January 1997 issue of Signal Processing Magazine. Its intended readers are electrical
engineers with no prior knowledge of PET but a fairly sophisticated understanding of
signal processing techniques. The paper begins with a description of the physics of PET
data acquisition, and then discusses deterministic and statistical methods of PET image
reconstruction.
Analysis of fMRI time series
- Analysis methods for fMRI time series
developed in this laboratory.
